About Our Founder
David Pailin Jr. is a multifaceted leader with over a decade of experience spanning communications, marketing, operations, and leadership. His career is marked by a deep commitment to community engagement, strategic thinking, and operational excellence, making him a standout figure in each role he has undertaken.
For nearly 12 years, David has held the position of Executive Director, overseeing organizational strategy, marketing, and community relations. His tenure at TPC has seen significant growth, as he has fostered valuable partnerships and created a foundation for sustainable success. Before becoming Executive Director, he served as the Marketing Director, developing forward-thinking campaigns that positioned TPC as a leader in its space. As Creative Director for four years prior, David showcased his creativity and ability to tell compelling brand stories.
David’s leadership also extends to Unykrn, where he serves as Managing Director, leveraging his strategic insights to drive growth and operational efficiency. As Communications Manager for the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District, David spearheads public health campaigns, driving community awareness and engagement through innovative communication strategies. His role involves not just marketing but also ensuring that public messaging is aligned with community needs, enhancing the organization's reach and impact.
He previously served as Quality Assurance Manager for The Salvation Army, ensuring program integrity and operational success; before that, at AIDS Healthcare Foundation, he served as a Project Manager in Marketing and HR, reflecting his versatility and capability to lead cross-functional teams.
A strong advocate for education and community service, David played a key role in the Morehouse College National Alumni Association (DFW Chapter), first as Director of Communications and later as Vice President. In these roles, he implemented strategies to foster alumni engagement and support chapter growth, making lasting contributions to the Morehouse community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
His leadership journey also includes six years with Dallas Independent School District (DISD), where he served in a variety of roles, including Media Specialist, Communications Coordinator, and Operations Supervisor. At DISD, David worked to improve communication channels within the school district, managing media initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of various school programs.
David's educational credentials include an MBA in Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he refined his skills in leadership, strategy, and innovation. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Morehouse College, where his leadership qualities first began to shine. His academic journey began at Allen High School, where he was part of the International Baccalaureate program.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, David is the author of #DearMillennial, a book aimed at inspiring the next generation of leaders to take bold steps toward their dreams. He brings a global perspective to his work, which has taken him across industries and geographies, from Dallas to Atlanta to Los Angeles.
